Vitamin C is involved in many vital metabolic processes and is the most effective physiological antioxidant in the blood. Oxidative stress induces a vitamin C deficiency, which deepens inflammation and primarily disrupts the functions of the immune system, nervous system, bones, and connective tissue. Intravenously administered vitamins improve metabolism, healing, and immunity.
When to use vitamin C:
The product is not available over the counter and requires a prescription. Treatment is not covered by health insurance. On the day of application, it is necessary to maintain a fluid intake of at least 2 liters.
Typically, a total of 7.5 g of vitamin C is administered, but a double dose of 15 g can also be applied. Administering infusion therapy with vitamin C is not DOPING, but for elite athletes, approval by the Anti-Doping Committee of the Czech Republic (www.antidoping.cz) is required.

Obesity has become one of the most significant global issues of the current population. Lower physical activity combined with a higher intake of energy-rich food are among the main causes of this disease. Consequences associated with obesity (such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, increased risk of stroke and myocardial infarction) lead to a generally lower quality of life and higher mortality.
The method involves inserting a deflated silicone balloon through your mouth, esophagus, and into your stomach. Once the balloon is in place in the stomach, it is then filled with saline. This balloon occupies about 70% of your stomach’s volume. The balloon’s function is to reduce the feeling of hunger, enable quicker satiety, and change your personal relationship with food.
In the first 2-4 days after implantation, patients may feel nauseous or even vomit, and experience stomach discomfort. These are normal symptoms that will spontaneously subside. The intragastric balloon is inserted for a period of 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of balloon, and then removed from the stomach in the same way. In 6 months, a patient can lose up to 35 kg.
If you have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27 or more, you are eligible for this procedure.
We offer two types of intragastric balloons (MedSil®, Orbera®). The balloons are typically introduced during a gastroscopy (MedSil®, Orbera®).
The balloon is introduced during the gastroscopic examination, and after the duration of the insertion, it is then endoscopically removed.

Colorectal cancer screening is a vital health measure aimed at detecting cancer in the colon or rectum early, when treatment is most effective. This form of cancer typically develops from precancerous polyps, which can be found and removed during screening, preventing cancer from developing. Common screening methods include colonoscopy, which allows doctors to examine the entire colon and rectum; sigmoidoscopy, which examines the lower part of the colon; and stool tests, which check for signs of cancer in feces. Regular screening, recommended starting at age 45 or earlier for those with risk factors, significantly reduces the mortality associated with colorectal cancer. Early detection through screening is crucial because symptoms often appear only after the cancer has advanced. By identifying and removing polyps, screening not only detects cancer but also prevents its occurrence, making it a key component in colorectal cancer prevention and management
Our center is accredited by the Ministry of Health as a specialized center for colorectal cancer screening.
